The mission of Depression-Help-Treatment.Com is to provide accurate, current, and relevant information about depression for the general public. The availability of good, factual information is important in helping millions of people affected by depression to understand that they are not alone, that depression help is available, and that they can feel better!

We work to relieve and to prevent depression by providing information, support and understanding to those who are affected by it via our publications and extensive range of services for people affected by depression.

Depression-Help-Treatment.Com believes that the stigma and lack of accurate information surrounding depression continues to prevent people from seeking and finding appropriate and vital help when it is required. Early intervention and information are crucial in enabling those affected by depression to recover quickly and – critically – in preventing further episodes.

Informed by the experiences of people with depression and by research, we work extensively with healthcare professionals to improve the service provision for those affected by depression. We also campaign to raise awareness amongst the general public about the realities of this severe and enduring illness.

Dealing with Depression Advice

Stop putting conditions on your happiness

"If only I had a better job, then I would be happy." "If only I had a more loving and caring partner."

These "if only" traps are discussed in depth in the book "Conquering Stress," by C.J. Green.

When we put conditions on our happiness we are not setting ourselves up for success.

There will always be greener grasses and brighter pastures, but how we deal with our lives and embrace what we have now is a huge determining factor in depression.

If you want more, work for it in a successful way, and better yet, learn to see the gifts in what you do have.
